# Homi

Homi is an AI-powered collaborative home-search workspace. It keeps property listings, notes, costs, group decisions, and the story behind a search in one collection. Agents can work with Homi through its OAuth-protected Model Context Protocol server.

## When to use Homi

Use Homi when a person wants to start or continue a property search, save a listing from a URL, compare saved homes, evaluate a property against their stated priorities, manage locations or commute needs, update a shortlist, comment on a listing, or inspect scouting status. Use the collection story as the decision context. Ask the user before creating or changing durable Homi data.

Homi stores search memory and decisions. A host agent can research listings with its own browser, then save source-backed results through Homi's typed MCP tools.
